The Education Resource Center is a curriculum resource center servicing education students in all colleges at the University of Delaware and educators throughout the area.

  • The School Library collection has over 25,000 Children’s and Young Adult trade books. This includes many Award winners and highly reviewed books as well as ebooks, audiobooks, and videos.


  • The Curriculum Collection covers all subject areas including Mathematics, Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, Health and Physical Education, Early Childhood, Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish, Latin, Italian), and ESL. We strive to include the textbooks or the equivalent that are currently used in Delaware schools.


  • Non-book materials to enhance lesson plans are available, such as maps and globes, puppets, videos, games, math manipulatives, science kits, big books and much more.


  • An assortment of Classroom Technology is available, including laptops, video equipment and assistive technology.


Borrowing ERC materials:

  • Patrons with a University of Delaware ID, may check out materials from the ERC, free of charge.
  • Non-University of Delaware patrons (patrons without a valid UD ID) may use the ERC General Collection Materials within the ERC. If they wish to borrow General Collection Materials and Assistive Technology, they must purchase a Community Patron card (Annual fee: $25 – Delaware Resident, $60 -Non-Delaware Resident).
